How the Strong Moms Challenge Works

Accountability and support

One of the main things that the majority of the women I work and talk with struggle with is finding accountability to maintain their exercise routine. Having someone that knows what your goals are, checks in with you, and keeps you accountable to what you want to accomplish is like finding a diamond in the rough. A large focus of this challenge is for me and the other moms participating to be that accountability for you. We will discuss goals, struggles, wins, and check in to help you stay on track. It is so much better and easier when you have a village supporting you and cheering you along the way. 

 

Consistency

This one is another common barrier to exercise, or at least sticking with it for more than a few weeks. Mom life can be hectic-our schedules don’t always go as planned and sometimes we just can’t make it to the gym because of life. 20 minutes (or less) may not seem like much, but the goal is to build momentum and to challenge you to move more frequently. 

Fitness is often over-complicated and many women feel like they need a minimum of an hour in the gym to get any benefit, and that is far from the truth. A “something is better than nothing” approach can serve us well!

 

 quick, but INTENSE WORKOUTS

But you can do them, regardless of where you are in your fitness journey. With each workout, you’ll get a video tutorial with modifications for each exercise to make it fit where you are at right now. You can do these workouts at home (or the gym if you prefer)-all you need is a pair of dumbbells!

These workouts are meant to get you feeling strong and confident in your body again. 

Private membership portal 

You will be sent an email with instructions on how to log in and access all of the workouts and bonus content (workout calendar, tracking sheet, pregnancy and postpartum considerations, and more!) in the private membership portal on my website. 

 

Exclusive Facebook group

We will have a private Facebook group exclusively for this challenge for you to check in and receive live coaching videos from me. We will dive into related topics around mindset and nutrition as well to implement with the workouts to stay on track. Don’t be afraid of sharing or posting in the group-that is the purpose of this! It will be a fun, inclusive community that will provide support, education, and accountability throughout the challenge.

I am so excited for you to join the #StrongMoms Workout Challenge and to help you prioritize your own health and fitness goals!

 

From my own personal experience and after coaching many women over the last few years, a common trend I hear is moms putting their own needs and wants behind everyone else's. Their personal goals tend to be low on their priority list and finding time (and being consistent) to exercise can be a challenge. 

 

Before having my kids, I would spend hours in the gym each week. After having them, I quickly realized that wasn’t super realistic in this season of life, because of all of the unexpected demands and getting pulled in so many different directions. So I created better ways to stay on track and be more efficient when it came to exercise which involved much shorter amounts of time working out. I implemented similar strategies with other busy moms I was working with and starting seeing less feelings of burnout and higher rates of adherence to exercise which was amazing! 

 

The “perfect” opportunity doesn’t always arise, especially for us moms, so we will strive for consistency in quick workouts to create momentum to build upon. This challenge will take the overwhelm out of what to do, how to do it, and how to stick with it when it comes to exercise and fitting it into your busy schedule.
