Nutrition is a topic that has been frequently brought up to me by the clients I work with. There is so much overwhelm and anxiety surrounding food and it effects so many factors in my clients lives: their mood, training, lives at home, relationship and comfort with their bodies, energy levels...I could go on.

Folks want to feel better in their lives and bodies and they know this is impacted by their food choices and routines. What they aren't sure about is where they should start, which changes are worthwhile, or how to ensure changes stick around.
​
I knew that we needed to create a program that reflected Bolte Fitness values. Our nutrition offering had to be inclusive, empathetic, sustainable, and a continuation of whole-person coaching.

This is that program.

I get a liiiiitle passionate / involved with the things I care about and I have 4 kids, so I tend to have a lot on the go! This why I thrive on systems, shortcuts, and finding creative ways to reach goals. If something isn’t working, I want to find a better way. This is what led me to start coaching in a way that’s a little outside of the norm.
​
So many folks are overwhelmed when it comes to nutrition and are focused on all the wrong details and ways of thinking. They are making their lives way harder than they have to be. It is also deeply frustrating to see the harmful ways that typical nutrition programs upheld oppressive values. I knew we could create something inclusive and better.
​
My favourite thing is to take what feels like an overwhelming challenge for someone and help them find a solution. I love showing the folks I work with that they can make small, manageable changes that will add up to make a massive difference in their lives.
​
And P.S. I actually do bake cakes (I've even made a few wedding cakes) and there is no universe in which I will accept that canceling any type of food is a solution. Your sweet tooth is safe with me!

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT (AND OTHER FAQS)
Upon purchasing, you will receive a Welcome Email that will walk you through getting set up on the Bolte Fitness app so you can start filling out your intake forms. There will be a program kick-off call where we will jump right into mindset shifts, getting to know your tendencies, and provide foundational tools.
How does it work?
Every monthly group Zoom call will give you education on a different habit and goal-setting (we'll teach you how to make the monthly habit-focus - or any habit for that matter - fit more easily into your life.) You'll keep yourself on track by checking-in via the app, so you can monitor your consistency and progress. There will be support available through the app's group messaging feature (and the Q and A's that happen during the monthly calls.) As well, there will be weekly self-evaluations through the app, the occasional worksheet to help you dive deeper, and actionable tasks.
What do I need to be successful in the program?
Access to the app, via your phone.
Access to Zoom and the internet.
~3 hrs in the first month as we get things going.
~1.5 - 2 hrs for every subsequent month.
A desire to make changes, a willingness to try new things, and openness to changing your mindset.
How long are the calls?
The initial call will be 90 minutes with the remainder being 60 minutes each.
I'm brand new to nutrition, is this meant for me?
Absolutely, you do not need any previous nutrition knowledge to partcipate.
I have specific health concerns. I would like to adjust my nutrition to try to address them.

I am struggling with an eating disorder. Can this program help me?
While many folks in the program have struggled with some sort of disordered eating in the past or would like to improve their relationship with food, this program is not designed to help folks overcome or manage an untreated or unmanaged eating disorder. Please speak with your doctor or visit this website.
Will this program help me lose weight?
This goal and intentions behind this program are not weight-loss or any form of dieting to change the appearance of your body. While we respect individual goals and choices, to help keep this program as safe as possible for folks with varying history with food, body image, or eating disorders, talking about food or weight in terms of numbers, sizes, restriction, and etc will not be allowed.
